How quickly will I see results?

Most clients notice changes in energy, inflammation, joint pain, cravings, and/or sleep within the first 7–14 days.

How much weight can I expect to lose?

A realistic expectation during the two week reset period is 5%-8% of your total body weight. Past that an average of 1%-2% of your total body weight per week.

Is the Metabolic Balance® program safe?

Yes. It's a whole-foods program with no shakes, pills, or extreme restriction. That said, if you have a medical condition we'll review your history carefully before starting and I always recommend checking in with your physician. Individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding are not eligible at this stage of life.

Do I have to give up foods I love?

Your plan is built around optimal foods for you based on your bloodwork. Beyond the strict meal plan phase, there will be room further for flexibility on a weekly basis.

How long does the program last?

You start with Phase 1, which lasts two days and is the essential preparation for metabolic change. Phase 2 is the strict conversion phase and is precisely described in your personal plan. Phase 2 lasts a minimum of 14 days. From there you move into Phase 3 where you will add more foods, and other items to your diet. The program culminates in Phase 4 - the Maintenance phase. You can easily maintain Phase 4 for a lifetime by continuing to apply the now familiar rules as the best way to nourish yourself. Ongoing support is available as needed.

How does the Metabolic Balance® Blood Test Work?

I will provide you with a bloodwork requisition for LifeLabs®.

Why does Metabolic Balance look at your blood?

Individualized meal plans are informed by bloodwork using an unique approach established by medical doctors in Germany.

Is the blood test covered by OHIP?

No. The blood panel required for Metabolic Balance® goes beyond what's covered by provincial health plans and is included in the total plan cost.

Can I do this if I'm on medication?

Many clients begin the program while taking medication. As your health markers improve, adjustments may be needed in collaboration with your healthcare provider. Any changes to your prescriptions should always be discussed with your prescribing physician.

I don't live in Ontario. Can we still work together?

Absolutely. All coaching is virtual, so I work with clients from every province across Canada. You just need a lab near you for the blood draw.

What happens after Phase 4?

You're set for life. The whole point of the program is that by Phase 4, you've internalized how your body works — so you can eat, travel, celebrate, and live without ever going back to tracking or dieting.
